Statistics in Blender

Is there in Blender, any kind of Statistics dialog? For example to count the number of polygons and triangles and etc, of the current model.

Hugo

There are rudimentary statistics in the top bar about the number of vertices, faces, objects, lamps, about memory usage and the name of the active object.

Thank you.
But… could you tell me what is this: La=0. And… how does the memory work?? With no Object, I get Mem=0.68M, and if I have for example 1 sphere and 1 cube, it says the same. What does the M stands for? Megabytes?? It cant be that but, I never know!

Hugo

“La” stands for “Lamps”.
you can see the memory rise when u render something. just try it

I think it is megabytes, but it’s the total memory, including memory used by blender for things other than just your single cube. Adding a cube only adds a very miniscule amount of memory, you can’t see it because 1MB + 1KB is still about 1MB. Try subdividing the cube six or seven times. You’ll start to see the memory usage increase.
