Staw like hair

Hello, how can I get this hair to look a lot less like straw. I used the hair from the particles. And also how can I improve it in general?

looks too real to me! Especially looking at some women around! :-DDD Sorry…
try to make them tinier, more glossy more smooth…

I’d tinker with the strand settings of your material, possible also use an alpha ramp along the strand so that your hair gradually ‘fades away’.

How’d you comb the hair with out getting bald anywhere on top? I keep having that problem, have you ever experienced it? The hair, in general, is nicely done.
