Steampunk Alchemist

Hi guys, after a few weeks of work in my spare time ( you can check some previews in the WIP section ) there I go with the final version of Steampunk Alchemist.
The focus of this project was to translate in 3D one of the awesome 2d Concept from FZD http://fengzhudesign.blogspot.it/2015/07/old-school-rpg-room-designs.html?spref=fb.
I’ve done all low poly modeling, texture blocking, uv unwrapping and diffuse color baking in Blender Cycles.
For the most part I’ve used procedural materials . but for some stuff ( carpet, glass in cycles render, plastic and so on) I’ve used CMV Materials. I’ve used an HDRI from pro lighting skies to provide basic enviroment lighting.
After I’ve got my diffuse textures, I’ve switched to 3D Coat for occlusion & curvature baking and started hand painting phase: final touches in photoshop and there we go.
You can check more artwork on artsation , including freestyle cycles render in a previous phase. I really like freestyle, so i plan to use this final textures to try some render back in blender

Nice! I like that cartoonish art style.
Well done

Thank you, glad you liked it!

Reminds me one of those click adventure games but in 3d. Looks really good.

Thank you, the same idea popped in my mind to many times while doing this. I tried to stick to something that could be used in a game, and I guess that after some further optimization this could do.
