i have an image that is being repeated onto my landscape for more detail. but when i stencil it the stencil will be repeated too.
in the uv texture panel i went to view properties and set repeat image then sized up the uv,s

maybe you have set ‘UV’ in the ‘map input’ menu for your stencil-texture, too. When you change your UV, the proportion of both textures are changed. Instead of changing your UV try to play a little bit with the sizeX, sizeY, sizeZ parameters in the "map input’ menu.
