stereoscopic 3d setup

hi,
i dont know if this belongs here, but i didnt know where else i should put it.
i have been using a stereoscopic 3d setup recently, and wondered if anyone else might find it useful. you have to move the cameras with the empty inbetween the two.
disable compositing during the first render, and save your image / movie as left.png (or whatever), the re-enable compositing while rendering from the right camera, and select that image / movie in the image input node.
if you are not using yellow+cyan glasses, you will need to adjust the rgb curves accordingly.
it can also be used with the cross-eyed method at the top of the screen for modelling complex meshes - and it is useful to know how close certain vertices are.
please tell me if you find it useful, or could improve it.

honestly, if you want 3d, render your left and right camera images and then put them together in stereoscopic player (google it, compatible with lotsa 3d and non 3d tvs)

yeah, but the idea was to create it purley in blender, -and it does a good job

ah…well unfortunately i just have the red and cyan glasses so i cant really view it :frowning:
