Stereoscopic plugin needed

Blender Developer Needed for Alioscopy 3D Screen Integration

Project Overview:

I am looking for an experienced Blender developer who can help me integrate Blender with an Alioscopy autostereoscopic 3D display. Alioscopy requires multi-viewpoint rendering (typically 8 views) to create its glasses-free 3D effect. Blender’s built-in stereoscopic settings only support two views, so I need a custom solution to generate and format multiple perspectives for the Alioscopy screen.

Scope of Work:

• Modify Blender’s camera system or rendering pipeline to generate 8 viewpoints simultaneously.

• Format the rendered images to match Alioscopy’s display requirements.

• Ensure compatibility with Eevee and/or Cycles render engines (preferably Eevee for real-time preview).

• Provide a simple workflow (either as a script, add-on, or node setup) for exporting Blender scenes in Alioscopy-compatible format.

• (Optional but preferred) Test the solution with an actual Alioscopy screen or provide documentation on how to set it up.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong Python scripting skills for Blender add-on development.

• Experience with multi-view or stereoscopic rendering.

• Familiarity with Alioscopy or similar autostereoscopic displays is a huge plus.

• Ability to work independently and document the process clearly.

Deliverables:

• A functional Blender script or add-on for multi-viewpoint rendering.

• Instructions on how to use it within Blender.

• Sample output images showing the correct viewpoint alignment for Alioscopy screens.

Budget & Timeline:

• Budget: Open to discussion based on experience and complexity.

• Timeline: Ideally within 2–4 weeks, but flexible for the right candidate.

If you have experience in Blender scripting and 3D display technology, I’d love to hear from you. Please include relevant projects or samples of Blender scripts/add-ons you’ve developed.
