Hi there,
I’m working on an animation of the Galapagos islands. I managed to get an outline of the islands by making a SVG file in Illustrator and import it in Blender. So i have a curved outline. To make some vulcano’s etc i need to convert it to a mesh but doing that will give me a bad mesh.
Is there a way to kind of stick a grid to the curved outline and cut it out leaving a nice grid to model.
I tried the shrinkwrap modifier, is that the way to go?
Any suggestions?
