I got bored one, and didn’t feel like modeling, but more animating so i made this stick man fight. There are some mistakes, but was too lazy to fix after render.

If anyone is interested i can upload the .blend
Hmmmm… You have the right idea going however some of the forces are wrong. If they jump really high for example, they need to bend there knees alot more to get more force in their jumps. Also, you can’t stay suspended in air, you rise getting exponentially slower, then fall getting exponentially faster. Also your sky… thing is highly flawed. I would suggest going to this place here, pick up an image, then make a simple sky dome. Keep going though. Time and experience are all that one needs for learning.
I know what you mean with them flying with tiny jumps and the sky having a ground and a visible background at times, but i wasn’t really going for realism more cartoon. I do have a question however while making this all my objects where at a very large scale. Due to the size of the distances between objects, the camera stopped picking objects up after a certain distance making a sort of horizon effect (i don’t know what this phenomenon is actually called). To fix this i had to re-scale the whole world and re-insert all my camera frames. It put me back about half an hour and made me ruin some of my shoots. Does anyone know what this is called and possibly how to extend this horizon so i may view objects from further distances?
It seems you got a lot o fun making this thing ! me too watching it !
yeah I know the animation is not perfect, but I can feel what your intentions were aimed to when doing this: Have fun, release some adrenaline, and you did a good job, we do what we really want to do, ha ha ha.
One quick tip: To avoid that weird overlapping background, you can click on repeat background in X and Y, and also select Mirror. What it does it repeats the background once it is out of Camera view starting as its Mirror ! So the edges can’t be seen, they just stick together repeating the background as its mirror.
Good Luck
Edit: Answering your question, Camera has a View range. By default it is set to 100. Just increasing this value you can watch farther and farther. Once upon the limit all objects dissipate. This is useful when using Mist !===makings your objects mixed with the Horizon and Zenith colors as Camera gets farther from those objects.
