I’m trying to do polygonal hair and apply a texture before I deform the mesh. Now I can do this by sticky co-ordinates or UV. I want to use sticky co-ordinates because they seem more flexible for what I am doing (and take half the time to apply), but I’ve hit the problem that they are lost when you sub-surface an object. Is this a known problem that can’t be solved or a bug? Is there a way of getting round this?
