Sticky texture on particle emitter. Not possible?


I´ve searched this forum and the www without finding an answer for this.

I have a subdivided plane with explode modifier and particle system so that the plane explodes. I line up a plane on a background image and position the camera so it´s in the right perspective. Then I want to project the background image to the plane so it seems the plane isn´t there. I´we read that the sticky texture mapping is the way to go. But when I make the plane a particle emitter the “sticky” button in the material editor disappears.

Not sure you understand what I´m going for here so please shoot questions if needed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
