[STILL UNSOLVED] water texture

Would anyone know the easiest way to do this? I want to have water moving in my fountain (for a game). The water doesn’t squirt upward, it only fills up a certain bowl then overflows into the next one by going down a slope-ish wall. I don’t want to animate the fountain starting to pump water, I just want it so that it has been pumping water the whole time.

I hope this wasn’t too confusing.

How about placing the inflow inside the bowl and an outflow at the bottom? This should produce a constant water flow without filling up the domain.

PS … This question might belong in the Particles and Simulations forums.

Sorry if I didn’t make this clear enough. This is for a GAME. You can’t use particles in a game, thus the only thing to do is animated texture, or ways that involve texturing. Does anyone know a tutorial for making water for 2.5x and gimp that uses a mac? I found one tutorial but he used windows and 2.49 and there were a large variety of problems I came across and couldn’t solve. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
