I just wanted to see what people thought of my noobish attempt at making a face look like its cut out of stone, This will go over the top corners of a door I am going to be making later.
i would suggest you to model it first and dont care if it is going to be on a desk or a table or a door, later you could attach it to it seamlessly, and concentrate on modelling , your model is far from perfect.

I think the first thing you need to do is learn how to make a face.
Concentrate on making an actual face, then learn how to make it look like a stone face.
