Strand Distribution

I like how Blender evens out strands on faces, but I am trying to get it where each face has the same “density” of strands in relation to its area.

Does Blender already do this or is there just a way of doing it manually?

I don’t know for sure, but I think Blender does that anyway - though you can weight paint for greater control.

I checked out that doc and the terminology is what was throwing me off.

If I press Even in the Emit From section of the particle window, it will make the densities of all the faces equal, no matter what their area. This is exactly what I was wanting.
