I made this model and did a straight forward unwrap.
But that results in a strange effect which is caused by the subserve modifier.
Does anyboddy know whats going on, and what to do about it?

When you unwrapped did you enable the ‘Use Subsurf Modifier option’ ?
or add additional edge loops at the top/bottom or cylinder to minimise stretching

Yes i did, enable the “Use Subsurf Modifier”.
It did not seem to solv the problem.
I just added a number of loopcuts and now things workout fine.
Thanks for the tip.
Although i am not quite sure what was going wrong.
