Strange hole/mark....

This may seem trivial but…

There is a strange mark on my model which is proving difficult to fix. I can’t work out if it’s a mesh or material problem. Any ideas welcome!


looks like a uvmap issue caused by a split point. drag around one of the faces to see if its split, hit esc.

select all faces around it and remove doubles. you will need to unwrap again.

Thanks for the reply. I’m not too sure what a split point is… however, when I select the surrounding mesh and ‘remove doubles’ it seems there are none to remove (it returns 0 vertices). I’ve added another screenshot to show the faces UV unwrapped. Further advice would be great, thank you.
