At first: I know this may be not the perfect place to put my request, but the bug tracker doesn’t seem to be appropriate either.
Mostly the two ends of a bone are called Tip and Root. But in two places the same things are called Head and Tail. I think this is really confusing.
In the Armature Visualisation Panel you can show the path of a bone. There is a button “Bone-Head Path” and the tooltip reads: “Calculate the path travelled by the bone’s head instead of tail.”
Well, I think it should read Tip instead of Tail, and Root instead of Head.
The other place is the transform properties panel for a bone in edit mode. Strangeness in it’s extreme: we have a root location but a head radius.
I could live with either Tip/Root or Head/Tail, but not with the mixture of these two.
With kind regards
