Strange Runtime freeze problem

My new computer sometimes freezes blender runtimes. Actually, I think it only freezes the graphics because the sounds continue and I believe the physics and logic continue as well. It usually only freezes in the first few seconds of the runtime. If it makes it through that it is likely to work fine. I do not have this problem in blender only in runtimes. What could be causing this problem and how would I go about trying to fix it?
Win. XP Media Center SP2
Nvida GeForce6150LE (latest drivers installed)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
1.93 GB RAM

BUMP… Does anyone have any idea why it does this? It gets kind of annoying when my newer faster computer doesn’t run runtimes as well as my old computer because of this problem.
