Hi, I’m just starting out with creating normal maps in Blender. Typically I make a rough model in Blender, detail it in Zbrush, then port a copy back into Blender and use that as my high-poly while using the original first model as my low-poly. With one asset though I’m getting a weird, angular glitch on the normal map.
Here’s the relevant texture part, you can see that sort of triangular shape on the round pieces:
It’s very noticeable on the low-poly model with the normal map applied:
But there’s nothing on the high-poly sculpt that would cause it as far as I can tell.
Does anyone have any idea about what’s going on with this and how I can fix it? The glitch is not laying on a seam as far as I can tell.
