Strange topology

I have run into a strange error with topology that I don’t understand and can’t fix. The file is attached and marked from x view (3). The issue appears when you inspect subdivided topology.

I have deleted vertices but the issue just moves further down the mesh. What is this and how can it be fixed without rebuilding everything?

Its seems due to the “edge split modifiers”, disable it or unset “Edge angles” ( left box ) on it.

You were right, it was the edge split.
