strange UV unwrap problem

i was unwraping an object arfter i had changed a marked seam and wanted to rearrange my ilands. so i clickted a vect and pressed L and all my ilands were selected

why has thing sudenly happend en how do i solve it

Was 1 of the vertices pinned before?
Another reason could be you’ve synced the selection with the 3Dview, but as I remember this would give an errormessage.

You have to be in face select mode in the 3d window, to be able to select face islands. Vertex and edge mode select the whole mesh.
