These are 3 wallpaper concepts I did up…
Very nice. A unique style and a creative use of the indirect lighting functionality
There are still more to come. The one I’m working on now will involve spilled paint
Here’s the newest image… The glowing paint looks a little less realistic than I was going for, because I modeled it instead of using a fluid simulation.

How do you atchieve the glowing affect. Oh, and great try on modeling a fluid. It’s hard to artifficially make natural things.
The glowing is simply a material set to emit light and I have indirect lighting enabled.
Is that under Radiosity?
@gnomestudios-I see your are having fun with the indirect lighting -good job on hand modeling the paint:)
Radiosity was used in older versions of blender: 2.49 and below I think.
Radiosity was extremly slow-the new method, Indirect lighting, in blender 2.5 is much faster and more accurate. :ba:
Indirect lighting is awesome! I never really got radiosity to work… Indirect lighting is activated in Blender 2.5 by going to the World Panel and selecting “approximate” under the “gather” section. See the attached image

Thanks. Looks great.
Very unique. Very cool.
Looks cool, love how you use the same colours in each picture.
I like those 3 colors, because they blend well together and dont inadvertantly protray an unintended concept, like if I just used only red and green it would look like christmas…
Gotta love rgb values.
for real man
