streaming models over tcp/ip

I want to make a live programming environment for 3d models and animation. I want to make this very thin and preferably use existing high-level applications.

I was thinking about using Processing and Blender.
What I’d need to do in Blender is create a script that:

  • Outputs a selection of the scene in 4 dimensions (so, one model for each time frame), over a selected period in time, puts this on a tcp/ip stream.
  • Processing just listens, reads any tcp/ip information and incorporates it as openGl draw instructions - using some existing 3d format library.

Does this script already exist?
