Street Layout for Large City

Hey there! I’m a new Blender convert, and am working on a pretty large scale city. The biggest thing that I’m coming up against is wanting to have an exact uv map that I can paint streets/parking lots onto. I’ve tried to just take screenshots and line them up to the UV Map, but with the curvature of the image, any top down view will distort. I’ve read a bit about the differences in grease pencil/texture paint, but is there a way to paint on the model/UV and have an unwrapped export to bring into Photoshop?

select your landscape go in top view (numpad 7), switch to edit mode, unwrap (u) select project from view bound

and bake an ambient oclusion map
you will see the black box representing the buildings
