I started this scene about a year ago then got stuck on the environment and composition. I rediscovered it and decided to finish it! So here it is!
Let me know what you think.

The main compositional problem is you have a vertical story (streetlamp) in a horizontal frame. The streetlamp looks like it is about 6 feet (2 meters) tall.
A quick search for “streetlight height” will show you dozens of images with dimensions like this one. This is typical, the lamp hangs about five meters above ground level. The shortest one I saw was 4 meters, the tallest were above 10 meters high.
So, my first advice is to get the scale of your props correct. I’m sure you can easily find dimensions for benches, too.
Then you need to think about placement. As it stands now, that fieldstone sidewalk is blocked by the placement of the bench and the trashcan.
Finally, you want to think about the story you are trying to tell. The focus of the image is going to be the spot with the highest contrast: what are you going to show your audience at that spot? And why?
