Structural rendering of a big house

Hi, everyone. I’m new to Blender, and new to this site - this is my first post. This is a rendering of the block and concrete of a house done for the structural contractor.

Materials are very simple. Rather than going for a true photo-realistic render, I was going for a very clean representation of how the structure is interrelated. This and a few other renders of the same structure were used to sell the contractor’s services on this project.

Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

very clean indeed. it kinda looks like cycles or an external renderer, but not blender internal. I say this because the lights are done very nicely and aren’t messy. what did you use?
otherwise good concept

Thank you! It actually is done internally - I used an HDRI image for lighting, and tweaked the colors a bit.

Cool! Would be nice to see some furnitures to make it even more interesting.

Thanks! If I can find a way to add more detail without detracting from the purity of the presentation, I definitely will.

Nice! did you try without reflections? they seem a bit odd though it probably adds to the clean and glossy nice look. Jools, he wouldn’t add furniture as it’s a technical representation of the building structure.
