stuck because of outdated tutorial

I need to export a UV map so I can make the UV texture in photoshop. my tutorial says that fromk the UV menu and choose save UV face layout. but I see no such option.

How do I export the map?

In 2.55 it’s “UVs” -> “Export UV Layout” (from the header in the UV/Image Editor).

I have 2.49 I see no Export UV Layout in the UVs menu

In 2.49, UVs > Scripts > Save UV Face Layout.
