You’re right it looks stupid.

Well apart from the fact that he has no jaw, mouth is gianormous and his cranium is less evolved than an ape, he looks ok to me.

where is the answer to my question then … and how to make these eyes look better

I did give you an answer try working on those other things first. I used to have the absolute hardest time modeling heads, I still do’nt get proportions right.

dp u have any good tutorial for head modeling

follow TorQ’s tutorial on modeling a face, it mostly shows how to model the face, and sorry but i don’t have the link right now…

Wow, ever seen the movie “The Goonies”?
Reminds me of the retard.
I think you’d better start all over again and use reference material.
Did you model those theeth?

The retards name is Sloth. He made the movie great, my favorite character.

No worries mate, i remember some of my first heads. Important thing is you cranked one off and probably learned a lot in the process.
For your next head attempt, i definatly suggest following a tutorial. They help so much when your first learning about things like proportions and features, as well as how they translate into lineflow for an accurate shape.
I just gave a huge rant on Rotoscoping in SirMikey’s Battle Droid post, but will say again that its really good for a beginer (and even advanced) artist. It will really help your artistic eye to develop and be able to spot things in the shapes and forms of objects.

Best of luck to you mate, keep doing them and i promise each one will get a bit better!!!

Matt

For your next head attempt, i definatly suggest following a tutorial
