This video was originally made for my Patreon subscribers, but I thought it might find some interest here, too. I’ve spent the last handful of months working on a Geo Nodes-based particle system intended for stylized effects animation. I’m shooting to have it released in the next few days for the Blender Market Summer Sale. It’s nearly ready to go, it just needs a little last-minute double-checking and a bit of optimization.
This demo is completely improvisational, I’ll have a proper demonstration of features ready before release that will have much less rambling off the top of my head, haha. There are chapters in the video to make it a little easier to browse through, and I recommend the “Stepped Animation” chapter at about 11:40 and the “Blob remeshing” chapter at 13:24. In fact, the stepped animation is probably the feature I’m most proud of in the entire system.
