You guys are prob getting sick of me for posting half finished things but i’d still like to show this:
I added some colour to the model to make it a bit clearer. For the numbercrunchers amongst you, the model consists of 3128 polygons.
Next up is making the real textures for the car. Since that isn’t really my strong point it might take a while before i’m done…

Actually tried subsurfs didn’t work that well. Did use sub-devide and then smooth which did help a bit.
Also projected some photo’s on it so the texture prob looks a bit skewed because of that. To lazy to make a decent texture at this time http://home.planet.nl/~rutte009/textest1.jpg
The basic problem with your texture is that you’re taking a 2D image and stretching over the shape of a 3d object. Thats not usually very effective because the 2D image is skewed. Hope that helps.
