I have spent the last month and a half learning html, designing my site, and finally implementing it. I have not made much progress on the game itself. :frowning: I guess I have some work to do.

That’s a nice looking site there.
The game looks like it’s going to be great too.

Yep, looking good!

but, I would deactivate the “Downloads” link until there is something to download. :-?

and if you want to speed things up for the potential viewer… well use frames, also I would look into an alternate way to pre-cache those onMouseOver-Out images.

just my opinion

Very nice, i really like the ship models you did a great job on that. Are you going to realease the game via .exe or .blend? I have troubles with the web plugin and would like to give it a play.
Anywayz, keep it up, its looking great!!!

Matt

Blend on, and blend well!!!

Thanks, I appreciate your comments  . I probably need to work on optimizing the site %| . Not sure how to best create the rollovers. This works for now. Someone told me about a program called 1st Page 2000. I might try to optimize the site in that program :-? .

I am working on this project little by little. I would like to release the game in .exe format. I am currently working on building a detailed version of the submarine. My goal is for first person game play.

I have First Page 2d, it’s pretty good, is not graphical like Front Page.
BUT if you like to code then is very good(plus the price is right  )

Ps: the game is looking good!

keep up the good work dude.

me likes the screenshots very very much. Good ship models, must be having less polygons.

looking forward to the game.

Here is a wire frame image of the “fairwater”. The “fairwater” is the exterior portion of the submarine’s conning tower. There is a 40mm cannon forward of the bridge (center) and a 20mm cannon aft. The tube shaped objects below represent watertight ammo stores for the deck guns. Directly behind the bridge is the “periscope shears” and radar. A hatch (not shown) on the bridge floor will lead to the conning tower below.

:o :o :o

neat model. helpful description.

blend on…

firstpage is great. code and it shows!

Here is a low poly Battleship Yamato. Only 246 faces. 8) Hopefuly this will be small enough.

Sweet. Now that’s all they need is a super-low poly sailing ship game.

I am currently working on low low poly models. Here is another…

It is a submarine model with only 63 faces. 8)

Here is an image of the low poly sub textured…

I am considering making the game either a side-scroller or isometric shooter. The first person simulation idea may be to ambitious. :-? Here is a sketch of some of my ideas…

Any thoughts? Let me know. Thanks.

It would be good to have a first person element, so if the player pressed a key the camera switched to show the inside of the ship.
