I’ve just set up a render farm using farmerjoe as the QM. I’ve finished setting everything up and my 2 nodes are ready to render in the appserver gui. MY problem is that I am very new to Blender and I’m not sure why my farmerjoe_submit.py script will not run.
I enter the text editor, load the submit script and when I click run Blender pops up with an error telling me there is a syntax error where the submit script attempts to create a director for the job it is about to render.
If you are wondering why I am trying to build a render farm and don’t know much about Blender it is because I am doing a class project and had originally decided to use 3dsmax, but was unable to get a copy of it.
Anyway, I’ve tried searching to no avail, sorry I’m new to the forum and may have missed a key thread from the past.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
