3D artist going from 3dsMax to Blender
I have modeled the lamp shade part of an exterior lamp, and was playing around with array and mirror. Then I figured out to create an array around 0, I had to create an object there.
When I selecter add a cylinder, it made it as a subobject or just part to the lamp top instead of as a separate object I could use as center object in my array.
I watched Linkedin Learning and he said nothing about it and had no such problem.
It’s a new download of Blender yesterday and it’s the most resent version. No addons.
Am I doing something wrong, or is it just a minor adjustment?
