Summer is here!

I did this scene as part of a visualization study. My goal was to explore the emotional potential of a scene using only the environment and objects.

I started by creating a moodboard to establish the basic idea, and then I began developing it through material studies, visual references, and a custom coastal-inspired reading armchair design.

The materials and some of the items are from Blendkit.

Now, in terms of the intended mood, my goal was to build a sense of place rooted in memory and atmosphere. This scene is not simply about presenting a product, but about creating imagery that evokes the tactile and sensory qualities of coastal living: the warmth of sunlight, the presence of ocean air, and the quiet comfort of a space shaped by time and nature.

Wow, that’s worth printing and putting on the wall! I’d love to be there instead of where I am.

Lovely mood, I really like it! Like others said, it makes you really want to be there. Also, the details on that rope are fantastic.

If this was your intention, then yes: you absolutely nailed it. Well deserving to have been featured.

Thank you so much, Peter!
Oh, that rope was quite something to achieve… I was trying to find a good rope texture on Blendkit, but any of them had this amount of details, so I stick with the texture I liked the most and then add a few details procedurally.
Thanks for noticing, I feel quite proud of this specific outcome.

Thank you!!
Fun fact: one of the first feedbacks I got here when I first join the community was that: what is your intention with this image?
Since then I’ve been working on that. First thing for me is to understand what the images should create, emotionally speaking, in my audience. And that’s my starter point for every artistic decision I take in the process.
Glad that you liked it!
