Sunday Morning - ArchViz

Iam to it. A change is sometimes unavoidable and status quo-unbeareable. Good luck ! ))

Oo

ewwww… 6 months you learn blender and GC and you do THIS ???

SH.T !!!
I should go grow sheeps in the mountains ! 8’(

Hmmm yes there are some improvements to be done in this scene… but…
I sincerely dream i made this when i learnt blender 2.49 !!!

Keep up your efforts mate !
you soon work on blockbuster productions !

Congratz !!!

And happy blending !

Well, it was kinda insane regime. I was watching tutorials and testing stuff every single day, and sometimes whole day. So yeah, if something really interests you I think everybody can do it.

Thanks and happy blending to you to!

Please keep on posting your future works here !
I just cannot wait :stuck_out_tongue:

happy blending !

This is realy gooood! Im not an expert myself but I think this is a level way above 6 months of learning. Keep it up you clearly made a right choice!

Thank you for such motivational words!

Could you post any comments about the background workflow?

I mean the trees and environment.

Is it an HDRi? Is it a plane backplate? Do you use tree models?

Could be very helpfull for me. Im trying to recreate your image.

Sure.
There is no HDRi. The scene is lit with sun+sky texture combination.
Background (sky) is cylindrical plane around the scene. Got it from Textures.com if I remember correctly.
Trees are free models from 3dsky.org. I just adjusted the shaders to use them with cycles.

Happy blending!

You’re on the #featured row! :+1:

Wow! Thank you

Congratulation on being featured–very nice!

You said in your OP that this was part of a learning experience. If I were at your level (I am not) and wanted to advance to the next level, I would try to depict what this same house and surroundings would look like if left abandoned for a decade or so. 'Not an easy task.

Thank you. Not a bad idea!

Excellent - good to see that Archviz can be done on a 100% pro level in Blender now!

Really well done! What’s your glass shader like?

There you go

A BRILLIANT and well directed critique! Bravo!

Seriously, having taken the time to mark-up the render, so you could direct your points accurately. One of the best crits I have seen on a forum.

The logo in the bottom right corner is terrible. Without it, your work will be much better.

Sounds like not a big deal, but it says a lot about you as a professional. There’s nothing worse than a photographer taking a nice picture and putting an ugly signature on it.

Thank you for the heads up!

So would you remove it altogether or change it into something more pleasing?

If you want to sign it, but don’t have a good logo, add a little lettering.

It doesn’t attract so much attention and still works fine:

I like it. Thank you!
