Super Hero

-Thanks to the help from the blender community I have completed my first model of this type!! in many ways I feel it’s like a dream come through because I have been wanting to create this kind of character for a long time and never thought I could pull it off…

-many things are wrong about him but I have learned a lot and am motivated to start my next new character with intentions to improve…

-I used sculpt to tweak parts of his face and ramps were used on his purple suit…it feels great to be able to finish this guy!!

Hey, you changed it to purple. I liked the red suit better. Oh, well, nice work. Some of the proportions and muscle lines are bad, but he looks like a comic book hero, which is what you were aiming for, right?

-Hey yippee

yeah proportions are of he is meant to be cartoony but I wanted a balance between cartoon and a good looking anatomy which was hard for me, I guess I should of kept things alot more simple… yes a comic books hero is what I was after… thanks for ur feedback…

I’m not sure what type of superhero he is, but i can see one part of his body is super! :smiley:

I love it :slight_smile: I like the purple a lot, he is very cute really.

@TheANIMAL: hehe ^^ your right

@DarkLimit
Good job looks very good. really like it

Looks great, but where’s the heroic pose? A good pose and scene would make this even more impressive.

-Thanks guys…

-Tcrazy I don’t even know how to use bones yet, so I can’t even pose him…but for my next character I will have some idea how bones work in blender…

-The Animal LOL :smiley:

Haha, I love the purple, it fits perfectly. The first one looks like a mug shot, in a good way.

-just playing trying to enhance the render…I have him in different colors purple, red I like them both…

Nice, I really like those new ones, I think they are just a little to dark, maybe just take them into photoshop/gimp and brighten them up a little!

I really like the vintage comic look, The background texture is also adding to the drawn comic feeling.
Good job!

You might want to try some halftone rendering with freestyle
