super intro fantastic..explosion

Hey, my friend wants me to make an explosion intro for his new videos that hes making on youtube…

he want to make an explosion followed by his name flying through the explosion…im wondering…is blender the right application for this?

if it is can someone either send me a .blend of the awesomest explosion…or just tell me how to make a fireball/explosion blow up in my face (on the screen :p)

You can learn particles, they are perfectly capable of this. You could also use the compositor or sequence editor to put the movie on your face.

try this site there are examples of fire and smoke and i think explosion too
with particules
