Super newbie question

Hi guys,

Very sorry for bother with such a trivial matter, I’m sure you guys got enough of questions like that. I’m a first try newbie, never played with Blender before and I badly need help as I’m fighting with this since yesterday. I was going through a youtube tutorial of making donut and everything was going super fine. I managed to render the donut and was playing with light to make the best picture. In the meantime I somehow managed to enlarge my scene collection and make it full screen. Had some problems with getting it back to normal and when I finally managed to get to the layout view my camera stopped rendering. My layout view looks different to original one as well. (Layout) https://imgur.com/a/EbSpcau, (Render) https://imgur.com/a/NhJItBV I’m using latest Blender as far as I’m aware. What have I done wrong & how to get it back to normal? Also how can i make sure I won’t do the same mistake again?

Huge thanks!

so on the top left you need to switch back to the 3D Viewport window:

Hi!

Thank you for reply. I switched this back to 3d view port and my camera don’t render in cycles. Layout itself also looks a bit different (scene itself, not UI, this I managed to sort out). I can go to render tab and when I go to camera mode it looks like that https://imgur.com/a/1a2nqMt . Normally when I render in cycles my screen is a bit blurry and everything looks a bit different. Thank you anyway, I’m nearly there!

on the top right of your 3D view, there are small sphere icons, you’re in Lookdev display mode, is it what you mean? If you want to switch to another mode, click on the other spheres
