I wasn’t sure where to post it. It isn’t project, wip or anything serious. But while I wanted to check if I can model a head from box I’ll post it here.
You know what? I can’t model a head from box But I will, soemday.
After 20 minutes or so, of modeling I realized I won’t get the nice female head, so I started to fooling around with mesh I’ve made.
Somehow the ‘M’ letter appeared on his forehead :rolleyes: I thought I’ll texture him.
Quick texture done in gimp without any afford (as you can see). Sharpen effect added in IrfanView.
Here it is - The Superb Mu-Man, better and hotter than Wu-Man could ever be. Beware.

i actually like the texturing, you got the m, i think because you are uv mapping, but you might have to move the mesh around, make it flatter to be able to uv map better? the texture on the neck actually looks really cool,
you could maybe add a bit more light as well, to show the eyes better, so yeah, fix the m, light it up, and maybe fix the teeth a little, haha, a cleaner texture job will work there too.
its always good to start modeling and texturing with a head, and so you thought, who has the greatest head of the face of the earth…DANG STRAIGHT!!! SUPER MUUUUUU!!!

Actually I didn’t bother with UV map as well. I just mapped from view (shame on me) and it’s why I only shew you the front render.
The letter M is surrounded by, umm, these ‘things’ because the texture somehow looks diferent with subdivision.
I didn’t bother with diferent renders as well (damn, I’m lazy man… and busy as well ) so another 2, old front renders.
Ok. Next time I’ll try to make somehting more serious and complete. I have cools scene in head, but I need nice looking female head (body isn’t problem, I’m so skilled!!! )
And I won’t change him, I love him as he is he looks. He is superest (hah) hero on the freaking globe

(let’s see, Omega is mostly finished, as is my Timberwolf mech and the Egg Gunner, Metal Sonic is coming along, I need to port what I have of my Centruroid model from Anim8or to blender & finish that, and port my tentacle-fan bot while I’m at it.)
I like some more then others, I just can’t get enough of the :rolleyes: :spin: smilies.
We still need our Dragon smilies and maybe even a black hat smiley:p
Super Wu-man - wannabe super hero whose giant ego sometimes gets too big for his head and members just seem to want to embrace him. Usually hated by some folks including those here who are Dragons.
See… Thats why somebody needs to make an article on wikipedia about Super Wu so that we can direct people there when they ask who he is.
Anyway… some of the smileys are cool… but others have such small eyes that I ( with my bad eyesight) can’t determine which smiley it is :rolleyes:

I will not stand for Super-Wu to be mentioned on wikipedia. That will only put him three steps closer to taking over the world’s popularity polls.:spin:
and that’s… bad? i mean, why should you care, it’s not like you’re on the “popularity polls”. if anything, the man should be glorified, if not deified. anyway, i think this Superb Mu-man is a good idea, and should make it’s way into the Wu-Man game, as a demented clone of the world’s greatest pseudo-hero.
