I admit it, I didn’t even turn on the TV to watch.
I was pulling for the Bears, but I didn’t watch the whole game. From what I saw, the Bears (and the Colts, to an extent, too) were playing pretty sloppy football. (Football, not futbol.;)) Of the teams that made it to the playoffs, I was hoping that either the Saints or the Patriots would win, though.

From the point of view of an average NFL football fan: This SuperBowl sucked. IMO only, folks. IMO only…

We decided to watch it for the first time.
First quarter was fun, after that I left and came back in the 4th.
I was going to the Bears just because everyone else was for the Ponies.
I’m austrian and should have been asleep already…
But the superbowl is a just great. It is such a cliche, I can’t even tell how funny it is - it is pure america, as it is presented by the media. But that makes a damn great show, no doubt - I really like it 
And the game was great as well. Now that’s what I call a good first quarter
I have no clue about the NFL but the colts deserved it, in my opinion. I mean, how is it possible that a team with someone like Grossman even made it into the SuperBowl?
At least my favorite team (the Tennessee Titans) split their 2 games against the Colts, so that means my team had a 50% chance of winning the Superbowl.;)

i watched it, twas my introduction to american football cus my mate had been saying that it was great. It was fairly interesting, though quite boring, when your used to watching rugby league where it just doesnt stop for 80 mins, it was quite boring to have a 2/3 min break in between about 30 secs of play.
i was routing for the Bears cus my mate was born in chicago.
That’s true. I thought that they break the game too often in Rugby, but when I see American football, it seems like they just stand still most of the time.
I’d rather watch the world cup when it comes on.

Colts Suck! Thy have a s__t defense, and only won by pure luck that the friggin bears were fumbling like they didnt have hands!

i was for the bears…but i am also happy the colts won…i am happy that an african american coach led a team to victory for the colts.
