Does blender allow you to use hardware gpu acceleration while you’re in scene building mode? ->While editing a scene.
Are there plans to support directx hlsl shaders, opengl glsl shaders or nvidia cg to preview materials for game developers? Is there a way to export blender materials as shader files?
IIRC brecht got GLSL working recently (There was a SOC project for it but it stalled, and I think brecht might have picked it up, not sure, though, so don’t quote me on it).
I don’t think you can export blender shaders though. If they’re not node based its pretty simple to go find the papers they originated in and recode them. If they’re node based, you’re on your own.
