Surface curves

Nope, this ain’t yet another thread asking about how to make 'em… I know how to skin them but I can’t seem to disassemble them after hitting F. By disassemble I mean that the curves are still joined as one object but I get rid of the “skin” thing. I’m pretty sure I was able to undo them before but it’s been a couple of years since I’ve played with curves…

I’m not real sure what your question is, but see if converting it to a Mesh with Alt C will allow you to do what you want.

Nah, that’s if I want to finalize the surface and edit it as mesh…When I’m editing the surface curves I can see the curves one by one sort of like this: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/File:Manual-Part-II-Skin04.png

But now I’ve gone and pressed F to skin them into something like this: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/File:Manual-Part-II-Skin06.png

So I’m wondering if there was a way to reverse the skinning because I find it easier to edit the curves without the skin.
