I recently switched from Debian to SuSe. Blender 2.33 worked perfectly under Debian with the nVidia driver. On the same computer, in SuSe, I installed Blender 2.32 from the YaST archive and installed the nVidia driver with YaST Update. With this new configuration I get video artifacts and a disappearing mouse cursor in Blender. Does anyone have experience with this problem? What can I try to fix it? Thanks.
From memory, check XF86Config for Option “SWCursor” “on” and remove it.
Also, I believe Suse has a proper utility for configuring 3d cards.
