Swapping texture maps between models

Hey guys,

Let’s say I have a UV mapped character. And I want to apply to this character texture maps (especially diffuse and normal) that belong to another character with a different UV map.

So, is there a way to do that in such way so the result would be “perfect”? Thank you.
