Sweet Home 3D is a free interior design application that helps you placing your furniture on a house 2D plan, with a 3D preview
(Unfortunately there isn’t any export function only the native sh3d format. Could be nice with obj export or maybe a Blender sh3d importer.)
Sweet Home 3D is able to export at OBJ + MTL format from version 1.4.
An example of an scene built from a Sweet Home 3D export and rendered with lights in Blender was added in its user’s guide.
