I started modelling this last night. Been wanting to do one for a looooong time. I started an underwater scene and decided it desperately needed some sea life swimming around. This is the first of several underwater creatures. Next will be Moray Eel and some fish…then what I’m not sure yet.
I threw on some vertex colors for a little more dramatic effect, it will be fully textured shortly and, yes, it’s needs eyes ;):

And one tip for animating, if you dont know already:
dont use ik for animating a body! I did it and it looked friendly said not so good…

Thanks for all the nice comments everybody. Textures will be coming soon, along with the rest of the scene.
It’s EXTREMELY possible but I haven’t decided for sure yet, time will tell.
If I do indeed animate it, I’ll brobably use a trick I learned from the iceman, using a lattice.
