Switching between minimaps

Hi everyone.

I am currently working on a game that you need to switch between two types of minimap.

Both mini-maps are finished, and each one is in a different scene.

My intention is that when the player press the M key, an actuator “Scene / Add overlay scene” changes between the two scenes that contain the mini-maps.
I have tried several methods but none have worked for me, because both scenes overlap.
The code and logic bricks that I use are:

if obj["minimapType"] == 0:
    cont.deactivate("Minimap2")

I’ve tried other methods, but all give me the same problem; so I hope you can help me.
