switching the camera

Hi guys. I’m new to Blender, and this forum was pointed out to me by Forcet on DeviantArt. I have a question, as the title suggests, involving cameras.

On one of my models, I have added a second camera in a different location to the first. However, I cannot find a way to make Blender render the view from that camera. How can I do this? Thanks in advance:)

Select the second camera and Ctrl-Numpad-Zero. If you want it for animation there’s a CameraChanger script in the Scripts window.

if you want to render in in an animation you can use keyframes, and if you wan the camera to “fly” to the selected area you can use ipo curves.

inserting keyframes:
goto frame 1.
press “i” and press locRotSize
goto the frame where you want the camera to switch.
move the same camera to the pos you want it to be and the rotation you want it to be.
press “i” and press lotRotSize

thanks for the help. problem solved!
