Symmetrical selection of meshes

I deliberately made random loop cuts on a plane. And in between the annotation lines, I’m trying to select 2 meshes (faces) which are the same width. As seen in the example, one is wider than the other. And it’s a tedious task to try match the width. So is there a method in blender which can even the widths of the selected mesh?

Thank you.

Duplicate the area you want even, move it across, then snap to edges. Then delete the duplicated. Not sure if thats the easiest though.

Hi Koumis.

Thanks for the reply. It did work, although I just needed to join the vertices from the gap it had created, because the duplicated mesh/width wasn’t the same size when it snapped to the edge. But I guess it was better than nothing.

Thank you.
