I’ve been tinkering with Blender, on and off, for several years now. Most of my output up till now has either been the direct result of following a tutorial, or, well, barely worth showing. (Although it seems I did post an image a few years back!) And I’ll admit, I’m following a tutorial here, too: CGMasters’ “Complete Dinosaur Creation”. However, I think I’ve finally started to go above and beyond the basics of the tutorial with this one, so I figure it’s worth posting here.
I still have plenty to do to my Rex. The additional research I’ve been doing contributed to such features as the lips (no perma-bared teeth here) and the eyebrow-ridge coloration, but I’ve still got to add a ruff of dark feathers. There is also more texturing to be done, along with a decent rig for animation (currently it’s only poseable.)
Let me know what you think!
