Nice work for a first try, It looks like you used AO, I don’t think a scene that simple needs AO
I agree about the AO, and it’s way too grainy. If you really want to use AO, increase the samples a lot. But I would just not use AO in that scene.
It looks pretty good for a first work though. Some textures to give it “flavor” would be nice. You should also select your couch, go into edit mode, select all the vertices, and do CTRL+N – recalculate normals.
Again, the AO. Some refraction would be nice. The bottle almost looks like it is chrome. The wine also needs work.
I like it, it is really modern! 8)
